Beautiful hitch wagon by Roberts Carriages. This carriage was purchased 4 years ago by one of our neighbors here in Missouri. He put it his barn and there it has sat until now - he says he has never hooked it up. It has some small nicks in the paint on the carriage and mostly on the metal parts - pole, shafts etc - likely from being moved around and scraping against each other. Looking at the points of the turning bar and carriage it does appear that this has never been hitched. No wear to the paint in the box area indicates no use also. It was stored in a barn so very minor surface rust on some of the metal parts but overall very very excellent condition. The carriage has hydraulic brakes, comes with a pole for team use, double tree, neck yoke, horse size shafts, turning bar, etc. This carriage will also accept the draft size shafts from our Roberts vis-a-vis. This hitch wagon can be used for small draft team or a single draft with the addition of draft shafts, or a team or single regular horse or a team of larger size ponies, haflingers etc. There are a couple of factory mounted 12 volt carriage lamps - they have never been hooked up - compartment for battery is under seat with the access door in the bed - no battery has ever been installed. Rubber on wheels is in perfect condition appearing to have never been on the road. Length is 112 inches, overall body width is 42 inches wide, overall height about 70 inches, front wheels are 30 inches and rear wheels are 42 inches, overall weight about 825 pounds.
